Village & Life's Waterfront Village offers guests luxury serviced apartments offering superior services and facilities. With over 35 staff members, including managers, drivers & handymen, we offer first-class housekeeping services, a central reception, concierge, security and luxury transfer services.
Reception and Concierge
The 24 hour reception area is located at the entrance to the Waterfront Village and is a welcoming space, furnished with couches and equipped with a computer for guests’ use. The front desk operates seven days a week.
Concierge service is available where friendly and knowledgeable staff can assist guests with information and booking tours and attractions, airport transfers and car hire.
Our state of the art security system is a major feature. The Waterfront Village is one of the most secure places to stay at, with full perimeter security and CCTV, access control at two main security entrances and video monitoring of entrances from your own apartment. Every apartment is fitted with an electronic safe for private use and the canal is also monitored by security in a rubber duck boat.
Since November 2013 Village & Life has been operating a central Control Room as a service to all guests. The Village & Life Control Room is a 24 hour, 7 days a week backup system put in place to ensure further peace of mind and safety for our guests. An All Hours number is available at each property, provided upon check-in; however the Control Room is there to assist our guests in the case of an emergency of a more challenging or delicate nature. The control room has direct access to the Directors of Village & Life, Embassy or Consulate offices, and other essential contacts. Guests can retrieve details for the Control Room (located in Camps Bay) from each property.
Through this initiative, we trust we will ensure our guests continue to enjoy a comfortable and pleasant stay with us.
On arrival all guests are pampered by a luxury range of guest amenities, for your convenience we supply all the basic toiletries and necessities for the first night of stay. Our collection of Hermoza products compliments our wonderfully furnished and equipped apartments.
Monday to Saturday between 09h00 and 16h00. The department offers guests a daily general cleaning of the apartment and every fifth day a full service will be done which consists of thorough cleaning of both the inside and the balconies of the apartment as well as a linen and towel change. On Sundays and Public holidays, housekeeping can be arranged on request at an extra charge.
We offer a laundry service from Monday to Saturday at an additional cost. All laundry received at the front desk by 08h30 will be returned to the guests by 17h00. This service includes:
- Dry cleaning
- Suede and leather cleaning
- Treatment and cleaning of all delicate fabrics
