 THE SUNFLOWER FUND BANDANA DAY 2008Date: Saturday 20 September Time: TBC Venue: V&A Waterfront Amphitheatre The V & A Waterfront will be buzzing on Saturday 20 September with celebrities, singers and musicians who will come out in support of The Sunflower Fund National Bandana Day which takes place on 23 September. Along with entertainment on stage, celebrities will be signing autographs and chatting to the public while encouraging them to buy bandanas in support of the thousands of South Africans being treated for leukaemia and other serious life threatening blood disorders. The Sunflower Fund aims to educate and recruit a viable source of well informed potential bone marrow stem cell donors who are ethnically diverse, in an effort to save the lives of those needing a transplant when suffering from life-threatening blood disorders.
